1. Download and Install
Search for "Vimo Rebinder" in Mac App Store or Microsoft Store to download.
2. Set up Super Key:
Open "Settings", select your preferred super key, and save.
3. Add Shortcuts
If the preset shortcuts include the APP you need: Open "Preset Shortcuts" and check the shortcuts you need. The selected shortcuts will appear in "Enabled Rebindings".
If the APP you need is not in the preset shortcuts: Open "Shortcut Manager". At this point, open the target application (for Mac, keep the program visible in the interface). Then click the "APP Selection" button and select the corresponding APP from the list.
For applications without active windows/background service processes (such as screenshots, screen recording, etc.), you can use global shortcuts (select Custom in the APP selection interface) for binding.
After selecting the APP, you can add shortcuts: Enter the description text for the shortcut in the shortcut adder textbox, press Enter/Return, and a shortcut setting window will pop up. Press the original shortcut keys, then press Enter again (keys can be pressed sequentially, no need to press simultaneously). The shortcut will then be added to the shortcut manager.
4. Set up Rebinding:
Find the corresponding shortcut, click the rebind edit button, and a key setting window will pop up. Enter the corresponding keys sequentially. (Note that the super key will not appear in the Rebind shortcuts)
5. Enable Vimo Rebinder:
After saving the above settings, right-click the Vimo Rebinder icon in the system tray and click "Enable" to activate.
Windows version: System tray is located in the bottom right corner of the screen, with the Vimo Rebinder Logo
Mac version: System tray is located in the top right corner of the screen, with the "∞" icon
6. Use Shortcuts:
Press the super key, then press the corresponding Rebind shortcuts sequentially.
7. Use Tab Direction Keys:
Press the Tab key, then press IJKL (default option) for corresponding "Up, Left, Down, Right"
