1. Ensure Automatic Updates are Enabled
Windows Store won't work properly if updates are disabled. To fix:
- Press Win+R and type
services.msc
to open Services - Double-click "Windows Update"
- Set "Startup type" to "Automatic" and save
2. Fix Store Page Loading Issues - TLS Settings
If store pages won't load:
- Press Win+Q to open Search, type "Control Panel" and open it
- Navigate to Network and Internet > Internet Options
- In Advanced tab, check "Use TLS 1.1" and "Use TLS 1.2"
- In same window, go to Connections > LAN Settings
- Uncheck all proxy server related options
- Save and try reopening Microsoft Store
3. Reset Microsoft Store
- Press Win+I to open Settings
- Go to Apps > Apps & features
- Find Microsoft Store
- Click Advanced options
- Click Reset
4. Clear Microsoft Store Cache
- Press Win+R
- Type
WSReset.exe
and run - Wait for the cache clearing process
- Microsoft Store will automatically open when finished
5. Reset Network Environment
- Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator from Start menu
- Type
netsh winsock reset
and press Enter - After successful reset, restart your computer
6. Reinstall Microsoft Store
If all above steps fail, reinstalling Microsoft Store may be necessary.
